Burramoko fire trail (Hanging Rock) is a 10.5 kilometres easy walk in the Blue Mountains National Park. It's 5.25 kilometres from start to Baltzer lookout and the same to come back.
At the start there is a wide area where to park the cars. From there there is an ample dirt road that goes all the way to Baltzer lookout. Not long from the start you will encounter a barrier preventing vehicles from getting through. Getting to Baltzer lookout is mostly downhill with a bit of up and downs. In fact, after 4 kilometres from the car you will get to the high point Burramoko Hill (1024 m), which you will probably miss because there is no such thing as a proper mountain.
The most interesting part of this walk is when you get to the end and enjoy the wonderful views from Baltzer lookout. The views of the canyon and the walls formed by the rocks are astonishing.
